The Walls Venice
In London, the view from Dover Street Market (standing outside, top floor) is a surprising but equally amazing spot to view the rooftops.

At this time it was in disrepair. There was a tarp over part of the roof to prevent water damage and it was empty, but I walked up and peeked in the windows of the living room. The house was a revelation. It was modern, but it was, first and foremost, a home for a family.
